Frequently Asked Questions

Why Did My Lens Timer Not Reset?

The timer resets only when you tap Replaced and confirm which eye — Both, Left Only, or Right Only. Each eye is tracked separately, so replacing one lens does not affect the other.

I'm Not Receiving Reminders

Make sure notifications are allowed for LensTime in the iOS Settings › Notifications › LensTime screen. Also confirm that Focus modes or Scheduled Summary are not silencing them. Reminders are delivered locally, so they work even without an internet connection.

How Does Prescription Tracking Work?

Add a new record after each eye exam. Every field is optional — enter only what you know. When you save, LensTime shows the exact numerical change from your previous record, such as "Left: −2.25 → −2.50". It reports numbers only and never offers medical interpretation.

What Is Included In The One-Time Purchase?

The core app — reminders, asymmetric lens changes, and your most recent prescription — is free forever. The optional one-time purchase unlocks widgets, multiple lens profiles, full prescription history and charts, supply tracking, and yearly statistics. There is no subscription and no ads.

I Bought Pro But Don't See It On A New Device

Open the app, go to the paywall or Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase, your unlock will be restored at no cost.

Will My Data Sync To My Other Devices?

Yes, if you are signed in to iCloud with iCloud enabled for LensTime. Your data syncs privately through your own iCloud account across your Apple devices. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Is LensTime Medical Advice?

No. LensTime is a reminder and tracking tool. It does not diagnose, interpret, or advise. For any decisions about your eye health, please consult your eye care professional.
