Privacy Policy

Last Updated: July 12, 2026

LensTime is built on a simple principle: your health data belongs to you. LensTime does not collect, transmit, sell, or share your personal information. There is no account, no backend server, and no advertising.

The Short Version

Information Stored On Your Device

LensTime stores the information you choose to enter so it can remind you and show your history. This may include:

This data is saved locally using Apple's on-device database. LensTime does not upload it to any server operated by us.

iCloud Sync

If you are signed in to iCloud and iCloud is enabled for LensTime, your data is synced across your own Apple devices using Apple's private CloudKit database. This sync happens directly between your devices and Apple's iCloud service under your Apple ID. The developer has no access to your iCloud data. This process is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

Notifications

LensTime uses local notifications to remind you when lenses are due for replacement. These reminders are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. No notification content is sent to or through any external server.

Information We Do Not Collect

In-App Purchase

LensTime offers a one-time optional purchase to unlock additional features. Payments are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. LensTime receives only a confirmation from Apple that a purchase is active — it does not receive your payment details, card information, or billing address.

Children's Privacy

LensTime does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children. As no data ever leaves your device to reach us, no personal information is gathered from users of any age.

Changes To This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Because LensTime does not collect your contact information, we are unable to notify you individually.
